Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director (Operating Partner) to join the leadership team at Chick-fil-A Orangeburg . This role serves as the trusted second-in-command to Owner/Operator Wayne Murphy, partnering alongside him to lead the business, develop leaders, and execute the restaurant's vision of impacting and influencing the Orangeburg community.

More than a traditional General Manager, this opportunity is designed for a leader who desires ownership, thrives on developing people, and wants to learn every aspect of operating a successful Chick-fil-A business. You will gain exposure to strategic planning, financial management, and long-term business decisions while helping lead one of the most respected brands in the restaurant industry. For the right individual, this role provides exceptional mentorship and a pathway toward future Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator opportunities.

Your Impact

• Oversee all daily operations, ensuring excellence in food safety, customer service, speed, and hospitality
  
• Partner closely with Owner/Operator in evaluating the health of the business, identifying opportunities for improvement, and executing strategic initiatives
  
• Lead and develop the restaurant’s leadership team across the Front of House, Back of House, and Administrative departments
  
• Manage and inspire a team of 100+ team members, driving alignment with core values and operational goals
  
• Build trust and credibility with the leadership team by coaching, mentoring, and leading through influence rather than authority.
  
• Promote food safety and workplace safety through consistent systems and team training
  
• Drive profitability by identifying operational inefficiencies, reducing waste, and supporting strategic growth initiatives
  
• Foster a healthy team culture by addressing performance and interpersonal issues directly, using established coaching frameworks
  
• Partner with department Directors to strengthen collaboration, develop talent, and ensure every leader is equipped to succeed
  

Background Profile

• Must be located or willing to relocate to Orangeburg, SC (required)
  
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience leading high-performing teams in restaurant, retail, hospitality, military, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, or other operational environments (required)
  
• Previous Chick-fil-A leadership experience (highly preferred)
  
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  
• Passion for Chick-fil-A's values
  
• Desire for a long-term career within Chick-fil-A
