Responsible for supporting real estate transactions by searching public records and examining titles for properties to determine legal condition of property title as part of production center, branch office, or member of a title team.### ### **Job Responsibilities*** Compiles, investigates and examines public and tax records to determine liabilities and legal condition of the title and insurability of the property* Prepares accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company examining and policy procedures* Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes* Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities* Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion* Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members* Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy* Performs all other duties as assigned by management **Education*** High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred **Experience*** Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experienceEqual Employment Opportunity EmployerStewart is committed to ensuring that its online application process provides an equal employment opportunity to all job seekers, including individuals with disabilities.
