Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting located in Sonora, California. Start date 10/12/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,375 to $1,413, with a 5x8 day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM). Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing care to assigned patients under supervision of an RN or MD, according to established policy
- Participate in planning for and provision of patient care; assist in developing a prioritized interdisciplinary plan of care
- Perform clinical procedures within scope (e.g., phlebotomy, injections, drug screens) and administer medications
- Maintain aseptic technique for dressings, wound care, and related treatments; monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Coordinate rounding and visits, assist in discharge planning, and deliver patient education per plan of care
- Restock and reorder supplies as needed; maintain neat, orderly clinical areas
- On-call duties may be assigned based on location and agency needs

Requirements
- Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of practice (California required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification (required)
- At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field
- Education: High School Education/GED required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to work in a short-term acute care travel assignment; weekend availability
- EPIC experience and recent hospice experience are preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred
