In-House Luxury Watch & Jewelry Videographer / Content Creator Location: New York, NY – Diamond District Company: Bayam Jewelry Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person About the Role Bayam Jewelry is looking for a highly experienced and creative In-House Videographer & Content Creator with a strong eye for luxury product videography. This position will have a major focus on luxury watches, including vintage and modern timepieces, while also creating content for fine jewelry, natural diamonds, gold jewelry, advertising campaigns, social media, and other brand initiatives. We are looking for someone who can make a watch look exceptional on camera. You should understand macro videography, reflections, lighting polished metals, dial details, gemstones, movement, depth of field, and cinematic product presentation. This is not simply a camera operator position. We need someone who can conceptualize, shoot, edit, and deliver finished content that feels premium while also understanding what performs on social media. Responsibilities Produce high-end videography primarily for luxury watches, as well as jewelry, diamonds, and other brand content Capture detailed macro and close-up footage of watch dials, cases, movements, bracelets, engravings, gemstones, finishing, and unique design details Create cinematic product videos that communicate the craftsmanship, rarity, history, and character of individual timepieces Professionally light highly reflective surfaces including polished gold, steel, watch crystals, diamonds, and gemstones Film and edit content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Stories, website, email, and digital advertising Create daily and weekly Instagram Story content, including product arrivals, behind-the-scenes footage, showroom content, watch details, launches, and promotional stories Develop creative concepts, hooks, transitions, camera movements, and visual storytelling specifically for short-form content Produce performance-focused video creatives for Meta and other paid advertising campaigns Create product launches, unboxings, wrist shots, comparison videos, educational content, lifestyle videos, behind-the-scenes content, and on-camera videos Film our team and customers when needed and provide direction during shoots Handle the entire production workflow: concept development, setup, lighting, filming, editing, color grading, sound design, music selection, graphics, and final delivery Adapt content into multiple formats and versions for different platforms Maintain a consistent premium visual identity across Bayam Jewelry and our watch content Work quickly enough to capture and publish newly arrived watches and jewelry while they are still available Collaborate closely with our marketing and e-commerce team on campaigns, product launches, promotions, and content strategy Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional videography and video editing experience Exceptional portfolio demonstrating advanced product videography and editing Strong macro/product videography skills are essential Advanced knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, macro lenses, lighting, stabilization, and production equipment Excellent understanding of reflections, highlights, exposure, focus, depth of field, and lighting highly reflective products Advanced editing and color-grading skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or comparable professional software Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and paid social advertising Ability to create both polished luxury content and fast-paced, attention-grabbing social content Strong creative instincts for hooks, storytelling, pacing, music, transitions, and visual composition Ability to independently take a concept from idea to finished, publish-ready content Able to produce a high volume of content without sacrificing quality Highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Strongly Preferred Previous experience filming luxury watches, jewelry, diamonds, fashion, beauty, automobiles, or other high-end products is strongly preferred. Knowledge or genuine interest in luxury watches, including brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, Omega, and Piaget, is a major plus. This is a full-time, in-house position based at our New York City Diamond District location. This is not a remote position. The videographer will work closely with our products and team on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone who wants to become an integral part of the brand rather than simply execute occasional shoots. Final candidates will be required to complete a one-day working trial as part of the selection process to demonstrate their filming, lighting, editing, creative, and content-production abilities.
