Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s power grid!The EA Business Unit in Wendell, North Carolina, which is its U.S. headquarters, focuses on electric-vehicle charging, photovoltaic inverters, medium-voltage power distribution equipment including packaging and services, and solutions, including automation. Additionally, assembly of electric-vehicle chargers, low-voltage motor control centers, and retrofit and replacement circuit breakers occurs at the facility.We are looking for a Warehouse Manager. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.Reporting to the Plant Logistics Manager, the Warehouse Manager will lead the warehouse, receiving, and inventory control activities at the Siemens plant in Wendell, NC.You’ll make an impact by:Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsEnsure compliance with Receiving, Put-away and Picking processesEnsure Inventory Accuracy level is above target and ensure Productivity within the department.Maintains department staff job results by training, measuring, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employeesManaging direct and indirect employees and complete performance reviews.Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocolsRespond timely and professionally to Internal customer complaints and inquiriesConducts short and mid-term capacity planning to ensure labor and equipment resources are balanced with demandMonitor department workflow indicators and respond to exceptionsLead troubleshooting of complex inventory, transactional, and operational issues using root cause analysisGuide and manage the process of material flow within the facility to internal customersCollaborate across departments to ensure efficient workflow and positive working relationships among teamsConduct training for employees on all aspects of job performance including safety, quality, business processes, and HR policiesYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations will be considered.5+ years of leadership experience in a high volume manufacturing environmentExperience with SAP WM modulePreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.Experience in areas such as Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related manufacturing functions Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience with warehouse management systemsCertification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP).Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and ExcelExperience with operating and maintaining a variety of warehouse material handling equipmentExperience with warehouse scanning equipment and applicationsData Driven Decision MakingStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and leadership skills.About Siemens:We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
